Joshua Claybourn Appointed to Indiana Commission for Continuing Legal Education

Shiloh Counsel is pleased to announce that the Indiana Supreme Court has appointed firm founder Joshua A. Claybourn to the Indiana Commission for Continuing Legal Education.

The Commission oversees the administration of continuing legal education for Indiana judges and attorneys. Its members are appointed by the Indiana Supreme Court under Indiana Admission and Discipline Rule 29.

The Court appointed Claybourn, along with Mary Kay Hudson, to succeed Judge Terry C. Shewmaker and Dr. Elizabeth R. Osika, whose terms recently concluded. Claybourn’s term begins September 30, 2026, and runs through June 30, 2031, or until a successor is appointed.

The appointment continues Claybourn’s involvement in the legal profession and public service. In addition to his work at Shiloh Counsel, his practice focuses on intellectual property, state and local government, constitutional law, appellate matters, and commercial transactions.

“I am grateful to the Indiana Supreme Court for the opportunity to serve,” Claybourn said. “Continuing legal education plays an important role in maintaining a capable and thoughtful bar, and I look forward to contributing to the Commission’s work.”

The Indiana Supreme Court issued the appointment order on September 30, 2026, with all justices concurring.
